Benjamin Hewett 
Benjamin was born in Norwich, New London, Connecticut, USA. Benjamin's father was John Hewett and his mother is Ruth Gifford. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Hewett and Sarah Waterman; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Gifford and Mary Calkins. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Solomon, Amos, Elisha, Jedediah, John, Ruth and Lydia. He died on September 22nd, 1762.-
