John Whale

John was born in January 1597 in Chickney, Essex, England.¹ John's father was Philemon Whale and his mother was Agnes Norwood. His paternal grandmother was Thomasine Northen. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Jonas, Philemon, Boy, Susan, Anna, Sarah, Margaret and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Jonas and Mary. He died at the age of 6 on July 28th, 1603 in Chickney, Essex, England.¹
