Catherine Egerton 
Catherine was born in 1458 in Egerton, Cheshire, England.1 Catherine's father was Philip Egerton and her mother was Margaret Mainwaring. Her paternal grandparents were John Egerton and Margaret Fitton; her maternal grandparents were William Mainwaring and Margaret Warren. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Ralph, Helena, Anne, Elizabeth and Ellen. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
