Maud De Rie 
Maud was born in 1088 in Rycott, Oxford, England.1 Maud's father was Eudo De Rie and her mother was Rohese Fitzrichard De Clare. Her paternal grandfather was Hubert De Rie; her maternal grandparents were Richard Fitzgilbert and Rohese Giffard. She had two sisters named Albreda and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, Geoffrey, Hubert, Walter, Godfrey, Aveline, Dionisia, Alice and Maud.-
