Aveline was born in 1114 in Luce, Normandy, ME, USA.1 Aveline's father was Richard De Lucy and her mother was Rohese Fitzrichard De Clare. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Fitzgilbert and Rohese Giffard. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Geoffrey, Hubert, Walter, Godfrey, Dionisia, Alice and Maud. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She had three half-sisters named Albreda, Maud and Margaret. She died at the age of 65 in 1179 in Prudhoe, Northumberland, England.1 -
