Stephen De Mandeville 
Stephen was born in 1070 in Manneville Sur, Risle, Eure, Normandy.1 Stephen's father was Geoffrey De Mandeville and his mother was Adeliza De Balts. His paternal grandparents were William De StMartin and Maude De Burgh. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Geoffrey, William, William, Ernulf, Geoffrey, Robert, William, Beatrice and Beatrice. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers named Geoffrey Fitz, William Fitz and Robert Fitz.-
