Beatrice was born in 1060 in London, England.1 Beatrice's father was Geoffrey De Mandeville and her mother was Adeliza De Balts. Her paternal grandparents were William De StMartin and Maude De Burgh. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, William, William, Ernulf, Geoffrey, Stephen, Robert, William and Beatrice. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
