Margaret Ann was born on April 10th, 1856 in Lawrence, TN, USA.1 Margaret Ann's father was Joseph Cook and her mother was Mary Ann Moody. Her paternal grandfather was Unknown Cook; her maternal grandparents were Henry Moody and Lidda Moody. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John H, William Charles, John Henry, Joseph Nathaniel, James Allen, Sarah Elizabeth and Mary Jane. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
