Philipp Conrad was born on September 11th, 1752 in Leun, Rheinland, Prussia. Philipp Conrad's father was Johann Conrad Pfau and his mother was Anna Catharina Griebel. His paternal grandfather is Andreas Pfau and his paternal grandmother was Anna Elisabeth UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Johann (Hans) Georg Griebel and Anna Louise (Loysa) Krauss. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Friedrich Johannes, Heinrich, Johann Jakob, Johann Philipp and Anna Elisabetha. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at 4 months old on February 3rd, 1753 in Leun.-
