DAVID I 'THE SAINT' was born in 1084.1   DAVID I 'THE SAINT''s father was MALCOLM III CANMOR King Of Scots and his mother was MARGARET Queen Of Scots.  His paternal grandparents were DUNCAN I 'THE GRACIOUS' King Of Scots and AETHFLAED (SYBIL) SIWARDSDOTTIR; his maternal grandparents were EDWARD 'THE OUTLAW' Prince (Atheling) Of Engl and AGATHA Von BRAUNSCHWEIG. He had five brothers and two sisters, named EDWARD, EDMUND I, ETHELRED, EDGAR, ALEXANDER I 'THE FIERCE', MATHILDA EDITH and MARY.  He was the youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers named DUNCAN II, MALCOLM and DONALD.  He died at the age of 69 on May 24th, 1153 in CARLISLE, CUMBRIA, ENGLAND.  He was buried in DUNFERMLINE ABBEY, FIFE, SCOTLAND.1 1
