Sarah Ann was born on August 2nd, 1847 in Chiddingly, Sussex, England. Sarah Ann's father was John Edward ELLIS and her mother was Hannah BARBER. Her paternal grandparents were Edward ELLIS and Martha BURGESS; her maternal grandparents were THOMAS BARBER and Sarah HOAD. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John Edward, George Owen, Thomas Henry, David Moroni, Hannah, Fannie Mariah, Ellen Eliza, Martha and Ruth Jane. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 53 on August 6th, 1900 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.General Notes
