Grietje van Winkle

Grietje was born in 1645 in New Amsterdam.¹   Grietje's father was Jacobse Wallings van Winkle Immigrant and her mother is Tryntje (Catherine) Jacobs. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Waling Jacobse, Jacob Jacobse, Symon Jacobse, Marritje Jacobse and Annetje Jacobse.  She is the second oldest of the six children.
