Henry Wheeler 
Henry was born in June 1827 in Shelby Co,Indiana.1 Henry's father was Benjamin"Mine" Wheeler and his mother was Sarah Barlow. His paternal grandparents were Archelaus\Archer Wheeler and Mildred Lyle; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Barlow and Judah Frances Smith. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Archibald- Archelaus, Angelina Lina, Dicey, Berila Rilla, Elizabeth"Betsy", Judea, Emilia Mildred Milly, Mary Jane and Sarah Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died about May 1851 in Polk Co, Ia.General Notes
Henry, 23, b. Indiana shows up in the 1850 Census of Polk Co, Iowa, Pg017 with his Mom, Sarah, 60, b. Ky; Archibald, 21, b. Indiana; and Sarah,16, b Ind
He apparently died in Polk County, Iowa in 1851, April or May ofthat year. will Book 1 of Polk County appoints Archibald Wheeler asadministrator. Heirs listed are Sarah Ann Wheeler, Mary Jane Wheeler(Randolph) Judea/ Judy Willliams, Angeline Cole, Dicy Gray, Rilla Vaugh,Sarah Ann Wheeler, Milly Breeding, and Elizabeth Hays.(the spelling ofsome names are erroneous.) These including Archibald, are the children ofBenjamin and Sarah Wheeler. Apparently Henry did not marry.
Henry was listed in Shelby County Indiana Order Book D, page 186,dated May 14, 1848, as Surety for his mother who was appointed Guardianfor the children of Benjamin and Sarah Wheeler: Mary Jane Randolph,Archiband and Sarah Wheeler, who were minors over 14 years of age.(Henry was 21 at this time.)
