Sir William was born in 1376 in Bolyn, Cheshire, England. Sir William's father is Richard Venables and his mother was Joan Thornton Fitton. His paternal grandfather was Hugh De Venables Knight and his paternal grandmother is Katherine De Houghton 2 wife; his maternal grandparents were Hamon Fitton and Elizabeth Thornton. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Oliver Whitley and Joan. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 26 in 1402.-
