Euergetes II Ptolemy (VIII)

Euergetes II Ptolemy was born in C. 184bc.  Euergetes II Ptolemy's father was Epiphanes Ptolemy (V) and his mother is Cleopatra I of Syria.  His paternal grandparents are Philopater Ptolemy (IV), King of Egypt and Arsinoe III of Egypt; his maternal grandfather was Antiochus III 'Megas' , King of Syria and his maternal grandmother is Laodike. He had a brother and a sister, named Philometer Ptolemy and Cleopatra II Epiphanes of.  He died in 26 June 116bc.

‌Euergetes II Ptolemy and Cleopatra III of were married in a religious ceremony in C. 164bc.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Ptolemy IX Sorter II of, Ptolemy X Alexander I of, Cleopatra IV of and Cleopatra.
