Cleopatra IV of's father was Euergetes II Ptolemy (VIII) and her mother is Cleopatra III of Egypt. Her paternal grandfather was Epiphanes Ptolemy (V) and her paternal grandmother is Cleopatra I of Syria; her maternal grandparents are Philometer Ptolemy (VI) and Cleopatra II Epiphanes of Egypt. She has two brothers and a sister, named Ptolemy IX Sorter II of, Ptolemy X Alexander I of and Cleopatra.
