Lydia was born on September 8th, 1649 in Medfield, Ma.1   Lydia's father was Nathaniel Treadway Jr. and her mother was Sufference Haynes.  Her paternal grandparents are Josiah Treadway Sr. and Mary Howe; her maternal grandparents were Walter Haynes and Elizabeth Gourd. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, James, Josiah, Mary, Elizabeth and Deborah.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 94 on September 18th, 1743 in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  She was buried in September 1743 in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts.1 1

‌Lydia and Josiah were married in a religious ceremony on October 2nd, 1667 in Weston, Ma.  They had six sons and four daughters, named Josiah, Nathaniel, Samuel, Captain James, Isaac, John, Lydia, Mary, Anna and Sarah.
