Serena Cordilia Shipley 
Serena Cordilia was born on March 9th, 1858 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 Serena Cordilia's father was John H Shipley and her mother was Harriet Jane Varner. Her paternal grandparents were Orson Shipley and Hannah O Hunt; her maternal grandparents are William Varner and Sebrina Moulton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Orson, William Melvin, John Moulton, Benjamin Franklin, Rachel Catherine, Amanda Rada and Hannah S. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 92 on March 8th, 1951 in Springfield, Green Co., MichiganSSOURI.1 General Notes
