William Leake 
William was born in 1720 in Goochland Co., Virginia. William's father was Walter Leake , Jr. and his mother was Judith Mask. His paternal grandparents were William Leake and Mary Bostick; his maternal grandfather was John Mask and his maternal grandmother is Martha Jane Christian. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel (Rev), Josiah, Mask, Elisha, Christina "Kitty", Elizabeth, Mary, Judith and Mary Christian. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 56 in 1776 in Anson County, North Carolina.General Notes
