John was born in 1670 in Goochland Co. Virginia.1 John's father was Thomas Mask. He was an only child. He died about 1731 in St. Paul's Parish,Hanover Co. Virginia.1 
John and Martha Jane were married in a religious ceremony about 1695 in Virginia.1 They had a daughter named Judith.
