Eunice was born in 1750 in Surry County, North Carolina.1   Eunice's father was James Edwin Jones , Jr. and her mother was Elizabeth Forbush.  Her paternal grandparents were James E. Jones , Sr. and Abigail Garfield; her maternal grandfather was George Forbush and her maternal grandmother is Olif. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Lemuel B. (Bramlet ?), James Edwin, Elizabeth F., Sarah B. and Ruth A..  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 71 on September 18th, 1821 in Yadkinville, Surry Co., Nc.  She was buried in Quaker Deep Creek, Monthly Meeting Cemetery.2 


Eunice's family with Thomas Hadley

‌Eunice and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on February 6th, 1777 in Guilford, Guilford College, No Car.3   They had two sons and nine daughters, named Joshua, Thomas, Rachel, Elizabeth, Lydia, Ruth, Sarah, Obedience, Anna, Mary and Eunice.
