Hannah was born about 1741 in ,Frederick,Va. Hannah's father was Cpt George Hobson and her mother was Hannah Kinnison. Her paternal grandfather was George Hobson and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Lindley; her maternal grandparents were Edward Kinnison and Mary Greenaway. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named George, William, Charles, James, Silas, Edward, Thomas, Stephen, Rebecca and Ann.-
