John Bergen 
John was born on September 23rd, 1764. John's father was Teunis Bergen and his mother was Annatje Stoothoff. His paternal grandparents were Hans Bergen and Rachel Benson (or Bensing). He had two brothers and five sisters, named Gerret <Teunis>, Tunis <Teunis>, Rachel <Teunis>, Lammetje <Teunis>, Femmetje <Teunis>, Annetje (Johanna) and Sarah <Teunis>. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 59 on August 12th, 1824 in died of typhus fever.General Notes
