John WELBORN 
John was born on September 4th, 1786 in , Rowan, NC. John's father was James WELBORN Sr. and his mother was Isabelle TEAGUE. His paternal grandparents are William WELBORN and Ann CRABTREE; his maternal grandparents were Moses TEAGUE and Elizabeth LOFTIN. He had eleven brothers and two sisters, named Moses, Aaron, William, James, Isaac, Gideon, Samuel, James, Joshua, Moses, Gideon, Elizabeth and Anna. He was the second youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 37 on July 28th, 1824 in , Davidson, North Carolina.-
