John SHELDON 
John was born on August 21st, 1718 in So. Kingston, Washington, RI. John's father was Isaac SHELDON and his mother was Susannah POTTER. His paternal grandparents were John SHELDON and Deliverance PALMER; his maternal grandparents were Thomas POTTER and Susanna Anthony TRIPP. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Roger, Isaac, Joseph, PALMER OR POTTER, Benjamin, Gideon, Elizabeth and Susannah. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 24 on May 27th, 1743.-
