Catherine was born in 1745 in Antrim Twp, Frederick, Maryland. Catherine's father was Henry RHOADS and her mother was Catherina RINEHART. Her paternal grandparents were Christian ROTH and Catrina CABLE; her maternal grandfather is Ulrich RHINEHARDT. She had fourteen brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, Joseph, Henry, Jacob, Solomon, John, Gabriel, Joseph, Daniel, David, Jacob, John, Gabriel, Joseph, Susannah, Barbara, Susannah, Barbara, Catherine II and Susannah. She is the eighth oldest of the twenty-one children.-
