Sarah was born in 1680 in South Kingstown, Washington, RI. Sarah's father was Thomas POTTER and her mother was Susanna Anthony TRIPP. Her paternal grandparents were Ichabod POTTER and Martha HAZARD; her maternal grandparents were John TRIPP and Susanna Anthony. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Ichabod, Thomas, John, Nathaniel, Benjamin, John, Joseph, Susannah, Martha and Mary. She is the oldest of the eleven children.-
