Martha was born on August 16th, 1708 in South Kingston, Washington, RI. Martha's father was Thomas POTTER and her mother was Susanna Anthony TRIPP. Her paternal grandparents were Ichabod POTTER and Martha HAZARD; her maternal grandparents were John TRIPP and Susanna Anthony. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Ichabod, Thomas, John, Nathaniel, Benjamin, John, Joseph, Sarah, Susannah and Mary. She is the second youngest of the eleven children.-
