Joseph HOUSLEY 
Joseph was born in 1778 and his baptism took place on April 28th, 1778 in Sutton, In Ashfield, Notts, England. Joseph's father was Samuel HOUSLEY and his mother is Mary GODBER. His paternal grandparents are William HOUSLEY and Elizabeth DUCKWORTH; his maternal grandparents were John GODBER and Lydia ROPER. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Matthew, Samuel, William, Jabez, John, Nanny, Hannah and Mary. He is the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
