John HOUSLEY

John was born in 1784 and his baptism took place on December 12th, 1784 in Sutton, In Ashfield, Notts, England. John's father was Samuel HOUSLEY and his mother is Mary GODBER. His paternal grandparents are William HOUSLEY and Elizabeth DUCKWORTH; his maternal grandparents were John GODBER and Lydia ROPER. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Matthew, Samuel, William, Joseph, Jabez, Nanny, Hannah and Mary. He is the second youngest of the nine children.
