George HASTINGS 
George was born in 1540 in Ashby, Leicester, England. George's father was Francis HASTINGS [Earl of Hunting and his mother was Catherine POLE [COUNTESS OF HUN. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry, William, Francis, Walter, Edward, Francis, Frances Ann, Catherine, Elizabeth, Ann and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 64 on December 3rd, 1604.
George and Dorothy were married in a religious ceremony in July 1557.
