Alexander Grierson

Alexander was born before 1599 in Lag, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Alexander's father was William Of Lag Grierson Sir and his mother was Nicola Maxwell. His paternal grandparents were Rogerson Grierson of Lag VIII Lord and Helen Douglas; his maternal grandparents were John Maxwell Lord and Agnes Herries. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Lancelot, Sir Robert KNIGHTED, Sir William, Helena, Sara, Agnes and Isobel. He had four half-brothers named John, Alexander, William and Thomas.
