Allen Michael Davis 
Allen Michael was born on September 17th, 1834 in , Highland, Ohio. Allen Michael's father was Branson Davis and his mother was Martha M. Zimmerman. He had five brothers and a sister, named William W., Elijah Garrett, Christopher C., George W., Franklin and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 87 on March 25th, 1922 in Stuart, Guthrie, Iowa. He was buried on March 28th, 1922 in Dexter, Dallas, Iowa.General Notes
William N. Reynolds was Allen's Commander. He was honorably discharged on Mar 3 1863 due to injuries received on Sept 5 1862, in a skirmish near Coffeeville, Mississippi. He was hit by a musket ball, striking him on the right arm, a few inches below the shoulder and penetrating the arm, destroying the muscles of the arm. When older he changed his name from Michael Allen to Allen Michael because he didn't want to be called "Mike".
Allen Michael and Caroline F. were married in a religious ceremony on July 19th, 1855 in Highland, Ohio. They had two sons named Jacob Branson and Franklin Grady.
