Anna Marie was born about 1753 in Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Anna Marie's father was Johannes Wetzel and her mother is UNKNOWN Hannah. Her paternal grandparents were Conrad Wetzel and Anna Catharine Bayer. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Conrad, Johannes Jr., Henry, Johan Jacob, Johan Adam, Catherine, Benigna, Elizabeth and Magdalena. She is the second oldest of the eleven children.-
