His paternal grandparents were Lewis Warnsturff and Mary Fisher; his maternal grandparents were Peter Pope and Catherine Hefner. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter P., Jacob, Rebecca, Susan and Mary A.. He died about 1900.-
