Alvin Tryhus 
Alvin was born on May 2nd, 1907. Alvin's father was Helmer H. Tryhus and his mother was Emma Josephine Bjerke. His maternal grandparents were Hans Evenson Bjerke and Martha Amundsdatter Stenehjem. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Orville, Earle, Trueman Eugene, Gilmore, Clinton, Ruel, Myrtle Hazel and Palma. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 37 on October 13th, 1944 in Luxembourg. He was buried in Fort Snelling, St. Paul, Minnesota.General Notes
