Rowland Thornton 
Rowland was born on August 1st, 1683. Rowland's father was Francis Thornton and his mother was Alice Savage. His paternal grandparents were William Thornton and Elizabeth Rowland; his maternal grandparents were Anthony Savage and Alice Stafford. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Francis, Anthony, Margaret, Sarah, Anna, Elizabeth and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 59 in 1742.-
