Emma Winifred was born on June 2nd, 1868 in El Paso, Illinois. Emma Winifred's father was Franklin Sutton and her mother was Mary Ann Barfoot. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Sutton and Margaret Critton. She had four sisters named Flora Ann Elizabeth, Laura May, Estella Mary and Nellie B. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 43 on May 4th, 1912. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Woodford County, Illinois.General Notes
