Johan Amundson Stenehjem 
Johan Amundson was born on March 28th, 1861 in Houston County, Minnesota. Johan Amundson's father was Amund Asbjornson Stenehjem and his mother was Kari Olsdotter Qualey. His paternal grandparents were Asbjorn Peterson Stenehjem and Martha Larsdatter Stenehjem; his maternal grandparents were Ole Baardson Qualey and Gjertrude Olsdotter Arvoll. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ole Amundson, Andreas Amundson, Peter Amundson, Lauris Amundson, Martha Amundsdatter and Johanna Amundsdatter. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 82 on May 5th, 1943 in Cass County, North Dakota.General Notes

Carl L. Stenehjem
Carl L. was born on April 27th, 1895 in Kindred, Cass County, North Dakota. He died at the age of 74 on June 16th, 1969 in Brady, Montana.
