Jacob Shobe 
Jacob was born in 1744 in Hardy County, West Virginia. Jacob's father was Jacob Schaub and his mother was Anna Barbara Heyer. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Schaub and Barbara Wurtz; his maternal grandfather was Lienert Heyer and his maternal grandmother is Clara Grace Lutzler. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Rudolph, Martin, Abraham, Elizabeth, Clara, Barbara and Eve. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 on June 1st, 1816 in Ross County, Ohio.-

Daniel was born on July 25th, 1780 in Grant County, West Virginia. He died at the age of 51 on April 29th, 1832 in Ross County, Ohio. He was buried in Shobe-Mallow Cemetery, Ross County, Ohio.
