Lucy Shipley 
Lucy was born in 1761 in Bedford County, Virginia. Lucy's father was Robert Jr. Shipley and her mother was Sarah Rachel Dorsey. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward, Robert, George, Rachel, Nancy, Ann, Naomi, Mary and Margaret. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 64 in 1825.General Notes
