George Shipley 
George was born in 1756. George's father was Robert Jr. Shipley and his mother was Sarah Rachel Dorsey. His paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Edward, Robert, Rachel, Nancy, Ann, Naomi, Mary, Margaret and Lucy. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 in 1815 in Allen County, Kentucky.-
