Thomas Shaver 
Thomas was born in 1831 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Thomas' father was Paul Shaver and his mother was Caroline Sarah Harper. His paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Catherine Riffle; his maternal grandfather was Charles Harper. He had three brothers and a sister, named Paul, David, LaFayette M. and Mary. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 34 in 1865 in Pennsylvania.-
