Lydia A. Margaret was born on January 18th, 1862 in Wellford, West Virginia. Lydia A. Margaret's father was John D. Shaver and her mother was Rachel Horner. Her paternal grandparents were John David Shaver and Mary Parsons; her maternal grandparents were William Horner and Lydia Cottrell. She had a brother and four sisters, named William H., Mary, Susannah, Nancy J. and Sarah C.. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 81 on October 31st, 1943 in Roane County, West Virginia.General Notes
