Jacob Shaver

Jacob was born in 1810 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Jacob's father was Isaac Shaver and his mother was Mary Hyer. His paternal grandfather is Jacob Shaver; his maternal grandparents were Leonard Hyer and Catharine Radabaugh. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Paulser, Jesse, Charlotte, Catherine and Sarah. He is the second oldest of the seven children.
