Harry Lovell Shaffer 
Harry Lovell was born on August 30th, 1909 in Kanawha County, Virginia. Harry Lovell's father was Andrew Johnson Shaffer and his mother was Ida Mae Burgess. His paternal grandparents were LaFayette M. Shaver and Eliza Virginia Martin. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alva Arvell, Kester, Hobert S., Cecil Hubert B., Stella Pearl, Sadie Myrtle and Ruth. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 in September 1994 in Kanawha County, Virginia. He was buried in Shaver Cemetery, Leatherwood, Elkview, Kanawha County, West Virginia.-
