Grace Dell was born on October 29th, 1894 in Poca, West Virginia. Grace Dell's father was Dioclesian Martin Shaffer and her mother was Nancy Galena Dawson. Her paternal grandparents were LaFayette M. Shaver and Eliza Virginia Martin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Dexter Virgil, Dio Franklin, Eva Alice, Martha Glena and Eliza Luctera. She died at the age of 45 on March 22nd, 1940 in Kanawha County, Virginia.-
