Elizabeth was born in 1699 in Solebury or Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth's father was John III Scarborough and her mother was Mary Ann Pierson. Her paternal grandparents were John II Scarborough and Sarah Ashby; her maternal grandparents were Robert Pierson and Mary Janney. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, John IV, Robert, Mary, Susannah, Hannah and Sarah M.. She died at the age of 93 on January 20th, 1792 in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was buried in Buckingham FBG, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.-
