William Jr. Scarborough 
William Jr. was born in November 1599 in Woburn, Bedfordshire, England. William Jr.'s father was William Sr. Scarborough and his mother was Agnes Farrar. His paternal grandfather was John Scarborough. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, Tymothie, Robarte, Alis and Anes. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on December 28th, 1681 in Hosier Lane, London, England. He was buried in Checker Alley, Burnhill Fields, London, England.General Notes
According to OurBooth-CoreTree by Ginny Core at Ancestry.com: "The
Scarborough's were originally the "Skarthi" family from the Old Norse by
name, "God bless my flawless Viking". Legend has it that they left what
is now Norway in 874 A.D. to sail to Iceland and were reputed to be the
1st permanent settles of this island. A part of this family left in 965
and came to Scarborough, Yorkshire, England and lived in the old fortress
Scaroborough Castle. Then some of them make their way into London
England. A succession of Scarboroughs lived in Hosier Lane, St.
Sepulchar's Parish, London, ENgland, and were affiliated with the
Friends. William lived in Hoosier Land and was a member of the peel
Monthly meeting of the society of Friends. William (b. 1598; d. 1680)
was buried in Checker Alley, Burnhill Fields, which is the same place
where George Fox and 12,000 other Quakers are buried. He was a member of
the Peel's Monthly Meeting of Friends."
Some sources list his death on 8 Feb 1680/81.
