George Walter Owen 
George Walter was born in 1895 in Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska. George Walter's father was Daniel Owen and his mother was Laura Louisa Scott. His paternal grandparents were Amasa Owen and Sarah Wiley; his maternal grandparents are Moses Rhodes and Alice Virginia Forbes Scott. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Miller, William McKinley and Louisa Mae. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 on November 13th, 1966 in Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, California.-
